You all know this scenario – we wake up and our day starts off on a not-so-hot note.
Maybe you were still tired from the night before and you accidentally spill your coffee. Or maybe you trip on your way out the door and your work papers fly everywhere. Or you can’t remember where you put your keys, so you waste 15 minutes looking for them, and then you are rushed, which really puts you in a bad mood.
But it doesn’t stop there, you hit every red light on the way to work, the biggest traffic jam you’ve seen in months, and then as soon as you walk in the door at work, you’re hit with a brand new project that came out of nowhere. Maybe your day gets better by lunch, or maybe not. It’s really all dependent YOU … on whether or not you were able to get yourself in a better mood and a better frame of mind.
Why? It’s all based on the theory behind the Law of Attraction.
It’s pretty simple actually. The Law of Attraction states that we attract what vibration we are resonating at – energetically, emotionally, physically, etc. But emotion is probably the single most powerful part of this equation. Our emotions are a reflection of how we feel and what we are currently experiencing in our life. And our emotions also have a frequency or vibration. It is that vibration that we send outward into the Universe like a beacon, a message – a magnet, really, for us to attract more of the same.
So it’s very simple, really. When we have positive emotions, like happiness and joy, we attract people and situations to us that carry similar energetic vibrations. When the emotions are negative, like sadness, despair, and anger, we attract negative situations with a similar vibration that just give us the opportunity to experience more of the same.
This is the very basis of what we attract, or manifest, into our lives. This is also what determines the level of abundance or lack, showing up in our lives.
So what should you do when you’re having a “bad” day?
Well, the first thing you want to do is NOT to call it a “bad” day or think of it that way. Don’t dwell on what is happening that is negative, because you’ll only create more of the same. The more we think about how “bad” things are, the more of that signal we are sending outward to the Universe, and the more we attract of the same thing. What you want to do instead is do everything you can to SNAP OUT OF IT! – to shift your energetic vibration to a higher, more positive place.
That basically means doing something to cheer yourself up, and quickly before you transmit more negative thought patterns outward and manifest and attract more negative outcomes for yourself. So when you find yourself feeling down or stressed out, eat a piece of chocolate, turn on some of your favorite music, call a friend, watch a funny movie, go for a walk to get a change of scenery – anything you can do help yourself forget why you are upset – just long enough to shift your vibration to a higher place.
In fact, you should make it a habit to do these sort of things to make yourself feel better each and every day. What you’ll find is that the more you do things to keep yourself in a more positive frame of mind, the easier it is to stay there, and the easier it becomes to attract and manifest good into your life EVERY DAY.
